FC Harlem celebrates a successful Fall soccer season with over 500 parents, kids and volunteers

FC Harlem ended the 2011 season with a celebration for over 500 parents, kids and volunteers. The celebration was held at the Police Athletic League in Harlem. Everyone enjoyed good music and food. Program Director Kevin Stein and Recreational League Commissioner and parent George Thornton handed out trophies to the kids and acknowledged all the volunteers who helped out during the season. Executive Director Irv Smalls announced the first ever Spring season and a documentary film on the program next season. FC Harlem Travel team players continue to be true testaments of Leaders In Our Neighbors (L.I.O.N.) as they showed up early to set up for the event and stayed late to clean up.
