25 players from FC Harlem’s Under 15, Under 17 and United Soccer League’s Under 20 team met at Major League Soccer’s Headquarters in midtown Manhattan to take in the Champions League Final Barcelona v Manchester United. Before the game, members from FC Harlem’s Board of Directors, Goal United (Young Professional Board) spoke with the young men about the importance of attending college and putting in the hard work and dedication in the classroom now. Players participated in a college and soccer trivia game and received a tour of the MLS office from Director Irv Smalls a former MLS employee of seven years. The kids enjoyed hearing from the former college and pro players. The day ended with the kids having pizza and fruit as Man U and Barca duked it out.
